Sales Associate
We are looking to fill a sales associate position for Sundays and a few weekday hours. Associates are responsible for providing a welcoming customer experience, ringing up sales and processing new products. Candidate should be dependable, have the ability to provide excellent customer service, be self-motivated and have the ability to have some flexibility in their schedule. Job Responsibilities
- Treats all customers and employees with respect consistently and contributes to a positive work environment
- Awareness of and ability to communicate company policy
- Execute all customer transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Proactively assess customers’ needs for timely service and react accordingly
- Conduct daily bank visit and daily bank deposit
- Conduct end of day merchant reports and balance register
- Assist in the training of new employees
- Assist Store Manager with daily store operations and visual merchandising
- Implements established procedures and maintains standards in the following areas: restocking, shipment processing, markdowns and inventory
- Maintains a clean and organized sales floor, stockroom, and restroom
- Self-motivated, outgoing
- Able to work open and closing shifts/weekends
- Working extended holiday hours
- Ability to work both within a team and independently
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift & carry 30 pounds.
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stock room (including a flight of stairs).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Comfort in using devices such as phones, computer, register and charge machine
